Q. I found a citation to an article in the databases (or elsewhere). I can only find an abstract. Where do I find the full text?

Answer

There are three steps for getting this article.

  • Search the Journals tab.  Sometimes you can do this by checking for full-text within the database you're searching, but you start by using the Journals search at www.lib.campbell.edu for the title of the journal this article is printed in.
  • Check the holdings.  You'll get a list of results for the journal that displays which years are available.  If the year this article is from is available, click the link to get to the journal and then search for the article there.
  • Interlibrary Loan.  If you can't get to the journal in question, you'll need to put a request in via Interlibrary Loan.  We'll order the article and get it for you in about a week.
